AttFife is an independent organisation set up in March 2007 to provide arts, culture and entertainment across Fife. We run a creative development service in Fife and four theatre complexes:
- Adam Smith Theatre
- Carnegie Hall
- Lochgelly Centre
- Rothes Halls
AttFife is limited company, governed by a voluntary board of directors including local councillors and people from a variety of professions - arts, business, education, legal and the voluntary sector. We are mostly funded by Fife Council, but also receive funds for special projects from other organisations. We generate income from ticket sales and activities such as classes and workshops.
Led by Frank Chinn, AttFife at present employs over 70 full and part-time staff as well as 200 casual staff across our four buildings.
Our aims
Our main aim is to offer arts, culture and entertainment opportunities in Fife.
We aim to:
- widen what’s on offer to people in Fife by working with other organisations locally, in Scotland and beyond
- build a network for the arts in Fife so that artists of all kinds have a platform for their work
- promote the arts and encourage everyone to enjoy them and get involved
- present arts and entertainment that reflects Fife’s cultural mix.
