Lampoassa's History
Our experience dates back to the 1970's when the first heat pump in Lapüa saw daylight. Manufacturing of Lämpöässä heat pumpd started in 1983. The totally new Lämpöässä generation was launched during 2007, where notably special attention has been paid to the supply of domestic hot water and the noise level of the unit.
Why Ground Source Heat Pumps?
Compared with other forms of sustainable energy, the gathering of ground source heat is a 100% reliable energy source and it's always there 24 hours a day, 365 days a year - and what's more it's free!*
Of course, the collecting of the 'free heat energy' does need priming and this is done by an electric Heat Pump which raises the water temperature from the ground temperature up to 45-55c, thus enabling most homes to have a constant hot water and heating supply, throughout the house and throughout the year.
*Compared with most carbon based energy systems, and after the installation of an average capacity Lämpöässä Heat Pump, providing the replacement energy source, the yearly running cost would be 40-60% of the previous heating bills.
